I went to the DD years ago and had the most wonderful Sunday lunch. when the waiter came to clear away he looked at the table and went 'mmmm nice clean plates!' We fell about, but since then it's always referrred to as 'nice clean plates' not the Drunken Duck.

I worked in Bradford until 1999, and I love Saltaire, the smell of lilies still reminds me of Salts Mill and David Hockney

I love the name! And what a picturesque way to spend the holiday season. I always feel too busy to really sit back and enjoy this time of year. This is a nice reminder that the best gift we give ourselves is personal time!
